With a duration of 4 days, the Discovery Stays make it possible to experiment each of our sectors (Industrial Design, Animation or Video Game) and to put you in the skin of a RUBIKA student . These stays are intended for curious high school students and passionate about artistic creation, whatever their level.

DETAILED PROGRAM

  • Brainstorming technique around the proposed theme
  • Dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.
  • Development of a storytelling around the chosen concept
  • Discovery of sketching and rendering techniques
  • Learning of graphic and manual technical tools in order to formalize a model
  • Personalized assessment, exchanges with teachers on the work done

The trainees will leave with the model of the project that they will have realized.

  • Character design presentation
  • Notions: Anatomy - skeleton stick - morpho face
  • Creation and realization of a character: in movement, attitudes and facial expressions
  • Presentation of the fundamentals of storyboard and cinematographic language
  • Initiation to notions of narration, framing, movement
  • Launch: the creative brief, the methodology and the specifications
  • Organizational phase of creating a story
  • What are the different steps to achieve a storyboard, its purpose?
  • Personalized assessment, exchanges with teachers on the work done
  • Introduction to Game Design by the board game
  • Base: Deck of cards + board + pawns
  • Installation of the game in a universe (reflection on the background, writing, awareness of the graphic rendering)
  • Definition of the purpose of the game
  • Introduction to the relationship graphism and game

At the end of the 3 discovery days, the participants will have to choose the sector they wish to deepen during this 4th day and will become familiar with digital tools. Graphics tablets will be provided and will be returned at the end of the day.
